2026 Council Candidates
Hey, Class of 2026! Class Council elections are almost here. Read a little about the candidates who want to represent your class!
Jaseer Abdulla
Driven by a passion for making each student feel heard, I'm a goal-oriented person capable of bringing vivid ideas to life to create, real, measurable change for the student body. Drawing experience from a previous term on class council, leadership from Cupertino Robotics, CSF, Tino Octagon, and Tino Psychology, I'm poised in a position to serve the class for another year.
Alongside ensuring each and every action I take reflects the ideals of the student body, I'm prepared to take on new challenges while working towards improving senior year for each and every student. I'm ready to make this year one to remember - are you?
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council?
One last year. Senior year is a final celebration before graduation, so let's make it count - together.
Despite the trials and tribulations we've faced, all of us have come so far. Now, this is our chance to make our mark. With bigger events, enticing rallies, an overhauled senior prom, and a focus on student wellbeing, I'm here to make sure that this final year is nothing short of extraordinary. Beyond the big events, each individual day should feel unique from the last. With more senior-only events and experiences, I'll ensure that this year is one for the ages.
On March 20th, join me in voting for a year that truly reflects who we are.
Tejas Bojanapati
Hey Cupertino! I'm Tejas, and I'm running for senior student council this year. A little bit about me, I’ve been involved in various clubs and activities around Tino since freshman year, including Robotics, Speech and Debate, Aviation and Rocketry, and the FUHSD Climate Collective. I love working on hands-on projects, doing my best to improve our campus and make everyone feel like they're a part of it. When I'm procrastinating on homework, you'll catch me just hanging out with friends and trying my best to ride out the storm. No matter what, I’m always down to yap, so if you see me around, don’t hesitate to say hi!
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council?
One of the biggest reasons I want to be on council is to help balance representation. Right now, our student council consists mostly of girls, and while that’s not necessarily a bad thing, I think it’s important that leadership reflects the diverse perspectives of our student body. Representation isn’t just about numbers, it’s about making sure different voices are heard and included in decision-making. I want to bring a fresh perspective to council and help create an environment where everyone feels like they belong, no matter their background or experience
Esther Kim
What's up 2026! My name is Esther Kim and I am running to be part of your 2026 class council. As your current class president and the ONLY candidate with 3 years of council experience, I am confident that I can make your senior year a blast. I have had the opportunity to spearhead large scale events like homecoming and junior prom, and have the experience and knowledge to fulfill senior year council responsibilities AND go above and beyond to make your year memorable. If you don't know me, my current obsessions include strawberry matcha lattes and studying at cute cafes. I also love to travel, play badminton, flute, and bake desserts.
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council?
I plan to make senior year a year for YOU by executing memorable events. This means keeping our existing events while also incorporating fun activities in them. For example, giving all seniors the materials during senior sunrise to craft “senior capsule boxes”, where you can decorate boxes, pack them with mementos, and write letters to your future self.
Along with that, I plan to implement senior socials, where people can continue to make their senior capsule boxes, sign each others' yearbook/senior merch, and have fun.
Lastly, due to this year’s budgeting, I plan to make senior year merch more affordable and accessible to everyone.
Sean Kimura
What’s up Tino! I’m Sean Kimura but you might know me as Sean Blendz. Sean Blendz is my social media brand where I post mainly barber and hair-related content. Through content creation, I have garnered nearly 45M views and 21k followers and have worked with major hair care brands. I have been playing baseball since childhood which allowed me to play on varsity baseball since freshman year. I’m also an officer in Tino Hoops creating content to promote the club. I enjoy cloudy days with minimal sun and going on walks with my mom. Besides working on my social media platform, I’ve been teaching myself how to play piano, and going to the gym.
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council?
The driving purpose for running for council is to make our senior year the most memorable and exciting year. I want to boost class spirit, create energetic rallies, and ensure everyone feels included and valued. I’ll prioritize students' input to tailor events like prom and grad night to your interests. Graduated high schoolers mention that senior year is when everyone is the most connected. However, this can only happen if everyone gets involved and feels a sense of unity. If elected, I promise to actively listen, and dedicate my efforts to making this year truly amazing for all of us. And remember Never Fear Sean Blendz Is Here!

Anushka Sunil
Heyyy everyone! My name is Anushka and I’m running to be on the 25-26 senior council. I guess the first thing you should know about me is that I’m pretty quiet when you first meet me/in general, and am more of a listener. Some of the activities I do on campus are band and model un. I’ve been in band for the last 3 years and I totally practice my clarinet everyday! Other than that, you might see me roaming around the campus or going on walks at lunch and brunch. Feel free to say hi to hear more about my campaign!
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council?
As we approach our last year of high school, I know everyone has had moments where they cannot wait to leave. Next year is different as we are approaching the end of high school. I have heard that during this time, a bond is formed with one another and all seniors become friends. My main goal for council next year is to host classwide events to help our class reach this bonding point. Events might include picnics or in-school class events. Another goal of mine includes getting alumni guest speakers to talk about their journey after tino. Students will get the opportunity to interact and ask questions with former tino alumni.
