I want people to know that I would be the kind of class council member that actually listens to everyone's ideas, stays organized, and doesn't panic when things get hectic. I'm always down to help someone else, to make events more fun and enjoyable for everyone attending, and I care about making our grade feel connected and making school something worth showing up to.
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council and what do you hope to accomplish?
My purpose for being on council comes from wanting students to feel welcomed, supported, and connected. As a freshman who's still faking it until I make it, I want to make school feel less intimidating and more like something that people would look forward to. Being on council would let me actually contribute instead of watching from the sidelines, bring in ideas from quieter students, and make events less awkward and more fun for everyone there.
