I have played club soccer for nearly 7 seasons and have been on multiple teams. Everyone comes from a different background which is similar to on campus. During this time period I learned teamwork, communication, leadership, and how to work together to reach a common goal. Additionally I've lived in Belgium for 2 years where I learned about different cultures and people with a variety of backgrounds. I had to adapt to new environments and meet new people on the way. Being exposed to people so different from me has made me a more open minded and understanding of others.
