Ayonika Bhattacharya
I am a very self-motivated and passionate person. Being a part of the Boy Scouts of America organization has helped me gain valuable life skills including leadership, communication, teamwork, and responsibility. In activities like earning service hours, going on overnight camping trips, learning first aid, and much more, I learned to collaborate with others and to be responsible and take the role of a leader whenever necessary. Although these skills have been useful to me in scouts, I will also use them as I try to become a better student and a good leader for my fellow peers if I am given the chance to represent the 2030 class of CHS.
What is the driving purpose for you to be on council and what do you hope to accomplish?
My driving purpose for me to be on council is that the student body is represented properly, and I can be a reliable bridge to bring forward problems and concerns or ideas that students may have about the school. I also plan to bring more culture, school spirit, and better mental and physical health support for students all across campus, and more engaging activities. I believe with my voice representing the 2030 class, I would strive to make our school community feel more welcoming, safe, and making sure every student feel their voice is heard and valued.
